7 - 13 September
From 7-13 September, Legendary Antique’s Dealer Lance Kuhn will be showcasing a selection of fine international antique pieces. Running at the J/M Gallery, Portobello Road - this unique exhibition delves through historic antique items from Scandinavia and beyond, with an expert on hand to uncover potential stories about the piece.
Lance’s business ‘Rumskinn’ voyages the nordic countries and beyond to bring audiences original and eclectic selections of artworks and fine decorative items. Conjuring up the colours and climate of the archipelago – Rumskinn has a range of beautiful paintings, prints, fine crystal, ceramics and many mediums which tell a unique story.
As well as general visitors, the exhibition wants to welcome any level of antique-lover - novice to the professional dealer. Lance Kuhn was a contestant in the first series of BBC Antiques Master, with specialist subject being mid-century Scandinavian glass. A resident and vintage dealer in the Portobello Road/Notting Hill neighbourhood of London for over 40 years, he brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the world of antiques & interiors. He can be found most weekends manning a stall in the Portobello/Golborne Road areas, has supplied many individuals and galleries/antique businesses in the past, and is now sole propietor of “rumskinn” where you get the opportunity to purchase original, fine and decorative arts for your home.
