Valentine Reinhardt
28 May - 03 June 2025

Colette Universe joins FACES Gallery to unveil a mesmerising journey through light, shadow and hidden worlds. FACES is an art gallery tucked into the Endoume neighborhood in Marseille’s 7th arrondissement and will be presenting artist Valentine Reinhardt in London, on Portobello Road's J/M Gallery.
Valentine Reinhardt is a multidisciplinary artist. After studying at Penninghen School of Arts in Paris, she was awarded by the Club of Artistic Directors and shortlisted at the D&AD Awards for her videos made for the artist Sébastien Tellier. Valentine’s world is distinguished by her graphic style, intense colours and dreamlike quality. She enjoys transforming, subverting and playing with codes through humour and poetry. Through their compositions and hues, her images often evoke the realm of surrealist painting. Her work revolves around painting, photography and video. Valentine has collaborated with brands such as Nike, SFR, Apple, Jérôme Dreyfuss and Instagram, as well as artists like Youngr, Gesaffelstein and The Weeknd.
FACES was founded by two local entrepreneurs — Guillaume Berthault (tech) and David Aït-Ali (advertising) — it was born from a simple desire: to create an approachable, human-scaled art space in a rapidly changing quarter. There you can grab a coffee from the barista, chat about art, browse books around the large communal table, then step out into the sunshine with a new print under your arm. FACES thrives on warmth and discovery: its walls showcase emerging artists who share a genuine connection to the South, whether by birth, residence, or inspiration. FACES isn’t just a gallery — it’s a living, breathing meeting place at the heart of its community.
Colette Universe, renowned for its deep curatorial insight and innovative pop-up galleries over the years, is honoured to join forces with FACES in Marseille — combining expertise to showcase the city’s most compelling emerging artists and bring their work to an ever-wider audience.
The exhibition at J/M Gallery in Notting Hill, London, will be open daily and an opening night will take place on 28 May, from 6 pm – 10 pm.
