Darker Patterns of Nature in Paint

Oliver Needs is back at J/M with some exciting new work.

Oliver is a London Artist, trained at Chelsea College of Arts, with a BA in Fine Art from University of East London. Originally focusing on traditional techniques of drawing and painting from life, he has more recently delved into his subconscious with expressive action style painting and other forms of patterns often influenced by nature. Inspired from a young age by Picasso, Van Gogh as well as Abstract Expressionism, he is exploring the world through art.

Oliver travelled abroad a lot as a youngster, especially throughout Europe and its great museums and galleries and found those trips inspirational. However, New York and the Museum of Modern Art is a particular favourite. Though London still captivates and inspires him as an artist. Oliver has been involved in numerous group shows and individual art shows over the years throughout the city and plans to continue expanding the audience who see and buy his work year on year.
