Out of Place
Jenny Fermor, Alice Sheridan & Sara Breinlinger
22 October - 27 October 2026

'Out of Place' is a group exhibition featuring three distinct artists who explore how we connect to the idea of place. Together, they investigate the friction, changes, and sudden shifts that shape our environment and how we perceive it. Three artists explore three core themes: architecture, landscape & abstraction.
Jenny Fermor creates sunlit compositions where specific places move subtly toward abstraction. Despite focusing entirely on raw shape, form, and contrast, these pieces maintain a familiarity of location.
Sara Breinlinger explores how things can hold together even as they shift and change. Here, place is relational rather than fixed: structures are established, disrupted and reorganised, while shapes align, misalign and interrupt one another, creating a sense of coherence that never fully settles.
Alice Sheridan presents painting as a response to a loss of bearings or a shift in the way we see and experience the world. Here a visceral interpretation over time creates layered landscape forms that reflect changing emotions.
Unified in one space, the exhibition creates a direct dialogue between these three different painting processes.
