Solo Show: Luke Maund at J/M

Luke Maund is back at J/M Gallery with plenty of new pieces. These abstract works often feature vibrant colours, sharp edges, and organic shapes, which are achieved by meticulously pouring and layering multiple coats of liquid acrylic.

"A family bereavement inspired me to reconnect with my artistic roots and my work evolved as a response. I transitioned from a traditional approach to this bold abstract style that feels incredibly personal to me. Life can be so complicated and messy, that’s why I try to achieve an element of simplicity in my work. To bring a nugget of clarity into an otherwise chaotic world; I hope the viewer finds some comfort in the paintings."
