Two Hearts Connect
Rob Hunt
11 November - 17 November 2026

You are invited to Rob’s first solo exhibition. Come and discover two hearts subtly hidden in each painting. They signify those essential connections we all share—with the natural world, with each other, with art. They also represent the relationship between you and his paintings.
Rob is a British artist living and painting in the foothills of the Chilterns in Buckinghamshire. He studied Fine Art and History of Art to degree level where he found his true artistic voice through oil painting—a medium that allows him to fully explore dynamic brushwork, movement, colour and light. Fast forward 25 years and after a successful corporate sales career, Rob now paints full-time. His work was recently chosen by the chief curator of Saatchi Art to feature in the top 100 landscape paintings of 2026 in their summer campaign.
Rob's paintings seek to capture the beauty of those often-fleeting, intimate, personal, magic moments in nature that make you pause to fully take it all in. He is deeply inspired by the world around him—the rhythm of life, the seasons, the ever-changing flow of light and the vibrant energy that pulses through our interactions with nature and each other.
Every painting begins with a moment that captures him, and from there he takes it on a journey. He works in oils, layering the paint and using brushwork to create the movement and energy that guides the eye across the painting, encouraging you to fully connect and engage with it. His paintings are essentially an invitation to feel the energy of our surroundings and remind us that there is a real joy in truly seeing the beauty of our world. They are an encouragement to live fully in the present, not only to appreciate but to love and care for the spaces we inhabit. The two hidden hearts symbolise this vision.
